How to install standalone system with SPS08
Below screenshots described how to install SAP HANA single host system on linux platform. In this demonstration I am installing SAP HANA single host on in the directory /hana, you can take any location as per your requirement but make sure that location will be available and empty. After that double click on click on hdbicmgui
It will give you below screen where you will get the overview of list of component available.
Select install new system and click next
Select the option as per your requirement.
Now select single host system and click on NEXT tab
Enter the password for SYSTEM user
Installation will take 10 to 15 mins depending on your environment
Installation of selected component will take 10-15 mins to get completed
You can view installation log in View Log tab. And then click on finished tab to complete this installation process. For detailed information you can go through master guides which are there on www.help.sap.com
